In between projects, I had worked on some paper piecings that I thought I'd share.

Christmas Gift Card Holders
With Christmas just weeks away, I thought I'd make some gift card holders.
These were fun to make and I enjoy creating the tiny details on smaller projects.
I've used patterns from KaDoodle Bug Designs and the gift card base pattern is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.

Sweet Tidings Tags Christmas Tags
Sharing another project with you today. The freebie file from KaDoodle Bug Designs was too cute, so had to create something with them. I've created another set of Christmas tags.
The tag base was created in SCAL and I created shadow layers as well. I added lots of Stickles to make the gingerbread man sparkle and finished off the tag tops with some ribbon, bells, and twine. Finally, a sentiment, "Sweet Tidings', using stamps from Craftin Desert Divas.

Snowmen Candy Bars
When I saw these candy bars made by fellow design team member over at KaDoodle Bug Designs, Cathy Derouche, I could not wait to create some! How perfect would these be for last minute Christmas gifts???
I used a couple of different files from KaDoodle Bug Designs to create the faces on the snowmen. The neat part about these candy bars, the hats are actually gloves that can be used too. They easily slide off. I've added a sentiment, "Warm Winter Wishes", using stamps from Craftin Desert Divas.

KaDoodle Bug Designs Holiday Blog Hop
Welcome to KaDoodle Bug Design's Holiday Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today! At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design team.
You should be arriving from Theresa's blog. If you happened to get lost along the way, please head to the KaDoodle Bug Design's Blog to start at the beginning of the hop.
Here are some Christmas projects I've created for the hop:
For my first project, I've created some Christmas tags using Here Comes Santa.
I've created the tag shape in SCAL and added some shadow layers. The white layer is embossed with snowflakes and I've added some twine and a button for some added flare. I loved the details on this pattern design! These tags would be perfect for any gift.
For this next project, I've created a nugget/gift card box, using Trimming the Tree.
The pattern for the box base is from SVG Cutting Files. I reduced the penguin pattern quite a bit to fit on the box design and substituted some bling for the tree ornaments. The candy canes were cut from white cardstock and the red details added with a Copic marker. Finally, I've finished the box off with some pretty white ribbon.
