Hope you're having a great day! Finally, seeing some sunshine in my part of the country today and it's a nice change from all of the snow. I'm ready for Spring!
I'm still in the first week as the newest member at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and I couldn't be happier. So many wonderful patterns to get the creative juices flowing.
Today, I worked on this card using a bear from the new Oh So Cute pattern. I love his tattered look with the patches. I added some Prima flowers and the stamped sentiment by Stampabilities. Enjoy!
Hi Barbara! I am so sorry to bother you but I need to know more about those eyes!!! I have tried to make my eyes like you did but in the file when I adjust them they just don't adjust right! Probably because I don't know what I am doing on the Cameo! I thought the files came with the layers on the eyes but the ones I have purchased do not. Do you layer your eyes in the file in the Designer studio by Silhouette? I have been checking out your Blog and your work is really good. Congrats on becoming a DT member for LSHD!!! Keep inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I use the Silhouette Cameo, but I prefer to use SCAL3 with it. It's just more user friendly for me. A majority of files come with the eyes in one layer. I create the additional two layers in SCAL3 by duplicating the original layer two more times and then resizing the extra layers. So, you end up with a small, medium, and large oval. The only way to get the eye layers the correct sizes, is to duplicate the original eye shape, otherwise, the layers will not go together nicely. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara! I need to purchase SCAL. I keep forgetting about that program. I have been trying to learn the program that comes with the Cameo and have forgotten about SCAL. I will try it your way because my way is not working and the layers are not lining up very nice at all. Thanks so very much for this information.
